MIDWEST BORZOI CLUB, INC.

The Midwest Borzoi Club was established in 1947.  MBC is one of the few multi-state regional AKC breed clubs.  MBC is approved by the AKC to hold conformation, obedience, and lure coursing events in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin.  Membership is open to all, regardless of where you live.

Saturday, May 25, 2019 - Concurrent Specialty show outdoors at Kalamazoo Michigan.  Borzoi judge Barbara O'Neill (Sheyash Borzoi), sweeps judge Valori Trantanella (Vitrina Borzoi). Borzoi can show twice that day, at the Grand Rapids all-breed show (judge Stephen Dainard) and at the MBC specialty in the afternoon.  Chairperson Laura Hyatt. Also this weekend, same site, 4 other all-breed shows. Thursday borzoi judge Daniel Dowling, Friday borzoi judge James Frederiksen, Sunday borzoi judge Robert L. Robinson and Monday borzoi judge Linda C. More. MBF superintendent.

Saturday, August 10, 2019, MBC trophy supported entry at the Cudahy kennel club's all-breed show, outdoors in Franksville Wisconsin. Borzoi breed judge Robin Casey (Timeless Borzoi). Borzoi Sweeps judge Kevin Carlson. Chairperson Pamela Leichtnam. Part of 4 days of all-breed shows (Friday - Monday) same site.

October 18, 19, 20, 2019. AKC lure coursing trials, fenced field, Lima Ohio. Anne Midgarden chairperson. Amy Sikula, trial secretary.

Saturday, November 16, 2019 - Specialty show with the Lima Ohio kennel club all-breed show indoors in Columbus Ohio.   4 days of all-breeds shows same site.  Borzoi judge for Saturday Carol Spritzer (Spritzkof Borzoi), puppy & veteran sweeps judge Jennifer Steele (Auroral Borzoi).   Amy Sikula, chairperson

Saturday, May 23, 2020 - concurrent MBC Specialty show outdoors at Kalamazoo Michigan.  Borzoi judge Gwen Post (Mutzko Borzoi), sweeps judge TBD.

Saturday, November 14, 2020 - MBC Specialty show with the Lima Ohio kennel club all-breed show indoors in Columbus Ohio.    Borzoi judge Kalen Dumke (Nonsuch Borzoi), sweeps judge TBD.

Saturday, August 14, 2021 MBC specialty show at the Cudahy kennel club's all-breed show, outdoors in Franksville, Wisconsin. Judges TBD.
